Thanks to the diligent efforts of our staff the barn is immaculate. The barn interior is power washed no less than twice a year.
The horses come first here and each stall front allows the horses to put their heads out into the aisle. As a result, horses feel less confined. Most horses that move in make the transition easily and settle in quickly. The barn was constructed with extra wide aisles; there is no possibility of horses having unwanted contact and horses are never tacked up in the aisleway. Additionally, there is a spacious room reserved for boarder's trunks, therefore, we have no trunks stored in the aisle making it congested and difficult for horses to pass through.

The facilities include onsite staff housing which is essential to an operation of this size. The barn manager and other staff members reside on the property to provide 24-hour surveilance. Staff members are on-site regardless of inclimate weather and perform a final night-check before retiring for the evening. We also bring horses in from the fields at night when thunder storms pop up during the summer.
The covered hot walker is connected to the more Southern wing of stalls and the indoor arena is connected to the Northern end of stalls. This allows access to all the facilities during ice and rain storms and ensures training and physical conditioning can continue uninterupted. The dust free footing and high ceilings complete with ventilation ducts ensure proper air quality throughout the barn. Skylights provide for maximum natural light.

As an additional safety the barn has been constructed primarily of block and has no hay storage over-head. This reduces the risk of fire dramatically and keeps dust down to a minimum. Further, the construction design maximizes the use of natural wind patterns to ensure cooling relief during humid summer days. For added security and comfort, all stalls have the capacity to be accessed from outside the building. The exterior stall door can be half opened to allow heads to relax in the sun, be converted to a full metal screen for airflow, or can be completey opened to remove every horse from outside the building if there were ever a need to in an emergency. Truly, we have thought of everything. To tour the facility contact us through email or by telephone.
